“The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom: and whatever you get, get insight” (Proverbs 4:7, ESV). Life is much easier when you partner with wisdom. When you make all your choices based on wisdom, not emotions, the outcome is positive. Wisdom means you are swift to hear and slow to speak. Too often we make decisions based on emotions and end up in places or saying things we regret!

There is nothing more beautiful than a voice embracing and speaking wisdom.

“Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for there shall no more come unto you the uncircumcised and the unclean” (Isaiah 52:1, ESV). This scripture sounds like a beauty line: Beautifully adorned. You see, truth be told, the world has no clue what beauty is. Beauty is when God calls you close then sends you forth adorned in His wisdom. God’s wisdom should be the fiber of the garment we wear daily. When He releases you from all the insecurities the world tried to clothe you in, those old garments must come off. He gives you beauty for your ashes and the joy for mourning. He trades all the negative for positive as you fill your heart with His wisdom. Who is smarter than God?

When God pulls you out of what once enslaved you, He covers you with riches. True riches is His wisdom. What doesn’t wisdom know or do? Envision wisdom as a tic-tac-toe game. You can win no matter which square you choose. The game is rigged! Your life is the same if you choose wisdom to answer your questions.

Here’s the secret. Are you ready to hear it? Wisdom was with God when He formed the world and when God formed you! Now wisdom comes to dwell in you through His DNA or Holy Spirit! Your life is already set up for complete success. There is no failure, only lessons to learn to sharpen your skills! So again, what must you have? Wisdom. Not wealth! Wisdom will get you wealth! “You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”(Deuteronomy 8:18, ESV).

Wisdom is love as well. It says kind things to correct you to make sure you are on the right path to success. It promises long life and peace. Like Jeremiah 29:11 promises, it knows the plans. If wisdom were there in the beginning, why would we even go to a textbook for wisdom? It’s for man because that’s their level. They must be able to make sense of a thing to embrace it. The problem with man versus God is man may add but God multiples. He does additions here and there, but read the story of the child with two fish and three loaves of bread. How did our Lord feed multitudes with the child’s gift? He multiplied.

The truth is, we keep trying to do this without God when He holds the blueprints for our success. No man has them. No job has them. No book has them. Each one of us has our own manual. He allows us to do our thing and create, but real success is in fulfilling a purpose. When you leave this world, what personal imprint or brand will you be remembered by?

Wisdom stands by the door and calls to you, “Come this way.” When you go with wisdom, you go to success. Your thinking must get in line and go straight to the meeting, knowing wisdom will speak and represent you well. The deal will be sealed, and you can go forth to deliver the message you received with full authority. It was never intended for us to be uncovered or separated from His wisdom.

Unfortunately, like the decision made in the garden to choose, we choose wrong sometimes. The difference for us today is that we have many godly lives to look to and model, lives that chose wisdom and succeeded. Back then, God made them the example, just as He continues to do with each of us. We are now His beauty on earth represented mainly by love. Love endures all. So much will happen to us in this short life. In the old days, people lived seven to eight hundred years. Imagine when the time was stretched out like that. Could you have made it back then? Absolutely you could because we serve the same amazing God!
